What is an Occupational Therapy Assessment?

When a third party is funding a support service or equipment, an OT assessment is a best practice requirement. The Occupational Therapist will relay findings of the assessment including the function of person and provide clinical justification for short or long term supports.

  • Personal care items: items or supports to assist with bathing, toilet and dressing

  • Memory aids: items or suppports to assist memory skills
